ORANGEVILLE

THEATRUM
Summer 1987

THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS IN ORANGEVILLE

A small town teenaged boy’s murder of two younger friends is examined by a psychiatrist while all around, on every level, images of his – and our – fragmented values are thrown at the audience in an invasive, intimidating, disturbing manner. Liitoja’s work with Richard Foreman comes to fruition here. It doesn’t all work, but it doesn’t leave you alone after you leave the theatre either.

Exciting, compelling theatre.
